Sleepbomb is a San Francisco group focused on music for film. Stylistically ranging from psychedelic rock and electronics to drone and post-doom metal, Sleepbomb has been described as a combination of Godspeed You! Black Emperor and Neurosis with a little Steve Reich for flavor. Sleepbomb's unique scores provide a transformative take on classic genre films, recontextualizing them for our modern age.
Sleepbomb endeavors include -
• Original live scores for existing films including Frankenstein (1931), The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari (1920), Conan the Barbarian (1983), Nosferatu (1922), Metropolis (1927) and Night of the Living Dead (1968).
• Live song-based performances set to film montage.
• Composition, score and sound design for new film, video and media works.
